Debuting my custom '11 Tundra

Recommended Posts

I didn't take too much photos of the process it took to get my 2011 Toyota Tundra Double Cab SR5 but I'll post as many as I have. The truck was pretty much built by myself and several friends helped out with their own skills; bought it in January 2011 brand new.

This is practically the final product, not too much of continuous build.

All that is really left for the truck is custom door panels, a few trim panels, and possible some suspension/wheel work.

Also, keep in mind that I tried to minimize how big the photos showed up on the page so I shrunk them down a bit to fit better.

If you guys have any questions on it, I'll try to answer back as fast as I can. Compliments, suggestions, and critique is all appreciated; just make it worth wild.

1. First up is when it was pretty much stock:

I'm going to start from exterior to interior:

2. Exterior:

Grillcraft MX Grill & Diablo Elite 26" on 315/40/26 & a sticker that you'll get when you scroll further down

3. Interior:

Custom molded 11" TV into dash w/ hidden PS3 / Custom Black/Gray leather seats + Suede headliner (a little hint of the system)

4. Sound system:

6 Sundown SA12D4 + 2 Sundown SAZ3500.1 / 4 Sundown Neopro 6.5 & 4 Beyma 1" Compression tweeters + 2 Sundown SAX100.4

I don't have pictures of the amps yet. We still need to make it look pretty with some trim panels

5. Photoshoot

That is one of the sickest tundras I have ever seen. The headlights are killer. They remind me of the oracle halo projectors.

Rebuild in progress

what happens when your CD player skips and you accidentally drop a 22 hz sine bomb at an unholy volume on 7-8 year old subs? Mechanical failure floppy sub knockage on at least 2.

well...as i see the level 6 is compared to a lamborghini.....but a corvette?

i was thinking more like a chevy volt. its cute and new and "hip", but i would just rather stick my dick in a blender.........

It's because they are lol... well Projectors are Lexus LS460 and the halos are Oracles

Lol, that would be why they remind me of the oracle halo's. I'm assuming by the pictures that they are the color shift?

Wow man great job. I like the grill a lot better the stock one. The head lights are amazing on that truck. Fits the body and looks clean. First time I've seen those rims but I'm liking them. The passenger side night view like damn man that's an awsome job on everything. Its so clean on the inside for that much custom work. The SA build is great and props to who built the enclosure cause it looks like they paid attention to detail. What is it covered with?

Videos of your system or youtube channel?

Yes sir, I was told that I'm the first vehicle to successfully run all white halos AND color shift halos.

Thanks man, I appreciate it a lot. The enclosure was built by another coworker of mine and it was wrapped with leather, to stay with the interior's theme. I have videos of the headlights I've done.

I've not done any sound system videos yet (system was done June22 at 7pm, right before we headed out to Scrapin' The Coast)

thanks: Mechman 270, 4 runs of 1/0.

No real reason on it being on the passenger side, besides being a little different lol. All I had to do is test to see where the meter should go
