Guest
Cheap shouldn't be in a question about a good alternator. Well when your on a budget its all you can do... not everyone is made of money. No disrespect. Just sayin think about it this way. if you're 200 miles from home and your budget high output alt shits out on you, there is no way in HELL you're going to be able to make it home on battery power. you're stranded. and you have to call an expensive ass tow truck to get you home. then the shop fees, if you dont install it yourself. there is a reason why mechman/dc power alts cost what they do. they engineer custom casings which are able to disperse the intense heat generated by the larger components
ch0sen
don't forget than the alt is a major mechanical part of your vehicle, and if they mess up than can easily take a 1000 dollar computer with it Quote My current 95 Jetta Build w/ pioneer h/u 2 RD Sonance 10's with flatwind coils 2 Audiopipe apsm 1500.1s 1 Hifonics Brutus Elite 60x4 1 XS d925 1 Stinger spv35 1 1000 amp lead acid 50 ft of 0/1 ofc from Audiotechnix all powerbass components, and coaxils, 4 sets buildlog = http://www.stevemead...2-rd-10s-build/ My build for my wife. http://www.stevemead...01-f-150-build/
