building a box for a single power acoustik fubr 12

Ok so i'm trying to build a box and i have a few different questions how do i figure out my port area and how big to make the box? In the instructions it says to 2.2 cubic feet and port of 4"x 12" (dia x length)

if i was at my computer at home i would look it up for you but i am at work if you download the free torres box calculator its fun to play with and it should show you the specs

i have a mac computer is their a version that will work with mac's?

so i used the re box calc and i have a box 16" h 25" w and 20" deep. Port 14.5 h 2.5 w and 16.75 L 3.1 cubs tuned at 34 hurtz that sound right to you all that know alot more than me

Well here is a suggestion sub up/port back, let me know if you want any changes:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 34 Hz

Vb = 2.1 ft^3

External Height = 15 in

External Width = 23.5 in

External Depth = 19 in

Port Width = 2 1/2 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Top & Bottom = 23 1/2 x 19

Left & Right Sides =

Side 1 = 17 1/2 x 13 1/2

Side 2 = 18 1/4 x 13 1/2

Front = 20 1/4 x 13 1/2

Back = 23 1/2 x 13 1/2

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 15 x 13 1/2

Extension = 13 1/2 x 13 1/2

sounds good to me is an L shaped port better than a strait port just wondering im new to the whole box building and this is my first ported box attempt
