kogwanted Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Ok so I bought a new car but kept all my audio I got a 15 inch woofer that played perfect in my other vehicle I didnt change any settings on my amp or cd player but my sub seems to get hot now which it never did before and I'm not running it any harder any ideas?
OB/GYN Kenobi Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Without more info such as what amp, sub, battery, old/ & new car, etc you are running, this will be just a shot in the dark. But I would guess your new car's alt & battery aren't giving your amp the voltage it needs. kogwanted Posted July 14, 2012 Author Report Posted July 14, 2012 Old vehicle was 94 s10 stock electrical in both sa-15 and a hifonics brz-1700 ( yes I know it's 3 times the power handling but like I said I had it in my s10 forover a month no problem my new car is a 2002 Lincoln ls
