SLAYER1805 Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 So I have a 12 in Rockford P1, for my needs it's been great for me and i don't care what anybody says its a decent sub even though it's over priced for what it is. Anyways back on topic I built a box for it last year when I had no idea what I was doing and totally messed up on it. Instead of being 1.8 cubes tuned to 34 hz it came out to be 1.3 tuned at 46 hz when I checked the dimensions a week ago cuz I'm planning to do a rebuild. The current box hits the highs like a champ and doesn't hit the lows at all. The new box I'm planning to build is going to be 1.7 cubes with a 4" aero tuned to 32 hz. Would this box have a difference in the way it sounds even though it's a RF P1? I know I know I need to upgrade which I will soon. Thanks for your input y'all.
