rgarrett
I will put a vote in for the Sundown Zv3 12s. I have two custom made with nightshade soft parts and love them. I had a powerbass 5k hooked up to just one 12 doing 149.8s sealed on the dash out of a trunk car. The sub took that power with no problem. I currently have 2 of them hooked up to a Sundown 3500d doing 150.6s on under 3600w. Just my two cents. 2007 Ford Focus SES Batteries - XS Power D3400 & D3100 Headunit - JVC Arsenal KD-A95BT Sub Amp - Sundown SAZ-3500D Sub - Two Custom Sundown Z v3 12" Sub Box - Pulse Car Audio NSPL Trunk 1801-3600 current world record holder - 150.

rgarrett
aweosme what kind of box design are you running and what kind of car? The box design for the 1 12" was sub up port to the drivers side in a 1.75 cuft box in the trunk of a 2007 Ford Focus. Here is the link to the testing with that box For the 2 12's, they are subs forward, 2 6" aero ports forward. 2007 Ford Focus SES Batteries - XS Power D3400 & D3100 Headunit - JVC Arsenal KD-A95BT Sub Amp - Sundown SAZ-3500D Sub - Two Custom Sundown Z v3 12" Sub Box - Pulse Car Audio NSPL Trunk 1801-3600 current world record holder - 150.

rgarrett
very nice what frequency is that? just curious and it says next a daily box how did they do daily? That was at 48hz. In the daily box with 1 12, I was hitting 147's on the meter and it would hit like you wouldn't believe and sounded great. I then cut a hole for the second 12 and was hitting 148's on the meter and shaking my car so bad it broke my outside passanger mirror right off. Here is a vid with the daily box with 1 12, sorry don't have a vid with the 2 12's Here is my SPL run with my current setup 2007 Ford Focus SES Batteries - XS Power D3400 & D3100 Headunit - JVC Arsenal KD-A95BT Sub Amp - Sundown SAZ-3500D Sub - Two Custom Sundown Z v3 12" Sub Box - Pulse Car Audio NSPL Trunk 1801-3600 current world record holder - 150.

rgarrett
sweet are they custom from sundown? like the softparts? Ya they are custom from sundown. I would just call them up and ask for 2 12" Zv3's with Nightshade softparts. Tell them you will be connecting them to a NS-1. What ohm load are you looking for? I have dual 1's, so for burps I have them wired to 1/4 ohm. I think you can get them in dual 2 also. 2007 Ford Focus SES Batteries - XS Power D3400 & D3100 Headunit - JVC Arsenal KD-A95BT Sub Amp - Sundown SAZ-3500D Sub - Two Custom Sundown Z v3 12" Sub Box - Pulse Car Audio NSPL Trunk 1801-3600 current world record holder - 150.

CJ18
I could offer you a hybrid that would be in the middle of your other options. The new dc m2 level 5s will have a 3.5" coil and would match up nicely with your ns-1. They will be out the first of August if that fits your time line.
