Engine block ground

Hey guys...

I'm about to do the big 3 in my pontaic g8 and the batter is in the truck.. The alt positive is no problem but I'm trying to work out the engine block ground..... What are my options without putting the wire under the car..... Can I ground the block to the chassis and double up on the chassis grounding points near the battery?

i dont understand the question. why cant you put a ground on the block to the battery? why does it need to be under the car?

edit: oh fuck. i thought you were just having a spelling meltdown with the batter in the truck shit. battery in the trunk. ive never ran into this problem. id think doubling your chassis ground would be better than another run to the block. (less travel to gound point) hopefully someone thats been in this situation can chime in

i have 3 grounds of 0 gauge OFC to my frame (chasis) from engine block (alt casing, random other side of block, and tranny) all to frame. works very well with bat in trunk.

Alright I hope I got this right... I measured serval points on the chassis and engine block with a dmm... All the points I want to use measure at .03 ohms and under will these be good grounding points?
