Even if you don't compete its always fun to come out and talk audio with people who aren't your dumbass friends ya know? Haha and get demos and get metered and everything.

But yeah there's been a pretty good scene this year (close to a show every weekend if you are willing to drive a few hours). Should be even better next year.

Do you know where I could find a schedule of events going on in Washington? If I could find one that would fit in with my work schedule, I'd love to go!

Well, I finally got around to throwin a few of the stickers on my truck. I didn't want any stickers on their with the word "audio" in it, though, so the Crescendo stickers were not an option. I also used two black "Fi Bomb" stickers on my side rear windows. I was kinda worried they wouldn't show up, but they actually pretty sick on there. They kinda fade into the window until you get up close and they pop out.

Left is for audio, and right is for Dirtbiking/Mountain biking.

And then I tried to get a little bit artsy...

Right now I'm thinking about what I wanna do next to my truck as far as mids and highs go. I know for sure that I'm gonna get the Pioneer DEH-80PRS head unit. I'm also thinking of getting Hertz HSK-165 components for my doors and then the HCX-165 coaxials for the rear. I found a Hertz dealer that's on my route to and from school, so getting those won't be an issue. I'm still unsure as to what kind of amp I want to get to power it all. I'll probably look into how much I could get a Sundown 100.4 for through one of the many dealers on here. I will need a high output alternator before I get that, though.

I just ordered my Pioneer DEH-80PRS!! Pretty pumped to get this Sony head unit out of my truck and put something in that has more than a 3 band equalizer! Haha

I've been thinking about what kind of amp I want to get for my mids and highs, and I'm probably gonna go with a Rockford t400-4. The Hertz speakers I'm looking at are 125 watts rms for the component set and 100 watts rms for the coaxials that I'll be putting in the back, so it should all work out pretty well. Everything's gonna be happening even slower now though. I'm not able to get too many hours at work with my school schedule, so any updates will be very slow...

Did u ever test the rca outputs? I have that same h.u. glad to know it isnt horriable and clips like hell.

I checked my head unit through my sub amp with the 40 hz 0 db tone with the DD-1. I found that it clipped at 47 out of 50 which I thought was pretty impressive for the Sony! I never did check what it was like with the other tone for testing the head unit though. It is a decent deck for the price, it just lacks a lot of features that I would like to be able to play around with.

If you hold down the volume knob button for a few seconds, it comes up with a bunch of settings. Just keep clicking the button until it says demo mode. Then turn the volume knob until it says it's off.
