yea I talked to him a bit. Got a pic of his setup somewhere on my computer.

Trying to guess numbers is tough. Really testing will answer all questions.

i have a single btl 18, and hit around 152 (not on TL) on one run, with low gains and stock electrical. i forget the exact frequency, but it was in the low 30's. so don't think you cant hit a 150...its all in the box now...

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

There are too many variable to determine what you will hit. Like said earlier the only way to know is to meter it. I am fairly confident you will be deep into the 140's, but I wouldn't be expecting to be too close to 150 on a TL you're first time out. Hitting big number on a TL need a shit-ton of wattage and drivers, or lots of testing and tuning, or both. Just dont get disappointed if you dont hit what you think you should, many a man has fallen to the TL...lol.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

yeah i wont be dissapointed, it will just push me even more to get it to hit a higher number..

i hope the box and subs turn out to be a good match... my friend had two FI Q's in it with a hifonics(think about 2000rms if i am correct) and was hittin a steady 153-154 with the windows up doors shut at the local comps.

i think thats why he said i should be around there since ill have more power to the subs then he did, but well see.
