need subwoofer box design

i suck at tunning and designing subwoofer boxes. im kind of stuck, i only have 14x16x30 to work with. i have to make a box for one aq hdc3 12. im open to any ideas you guys have. its going into a regular cab pickup truck in between the seats. i mostly listn to death metal.

What are the dimensions? Which is height, width, and length? And where do you want sub & port aimed?

woofer displacement is only .12 ? how do i figure that out. thanks for your help

also the box is 14 wide 16 high 30 long

right now my box is 14 by 14 by 30 and the port is 12.5 x 2 19 inches long

To be honest the sub displacement is an estimate. If it's off though, it would onlt be by a couple hundredths if so.

if i go with the slot port should i put the angles, fiberglass, brace and all that shit, would this help

for now i was thinking two 4 inch pices of pvc on the out side of the box i have now and i will just seal the port up that box lol

bc i want to take my time with the new box and make it as loud as possible, hopefully i can break 130db that would be bad ass

I would always brace. Fiberglass and 45's cant hurt but i usually don't. Just make sure the wood seals. Wood glue, Predrilled holes, and screws is what i do. I'd just do a couple dowels from side to side on the sides that are 16x30
