why wire a 1500w amp to .5?...just spend a bit more to get a bigger amp and run it instead...why put unwanted stress on your electrical if you dont have to?

why waste money on a bigger amp when you can get more out of the one you already have?

in this case, dont wire the rockford to .5 ohms though, simply because it cannot do it.

MANNNNNY people should not run daily on .5 ohm, PERIOD. I don't see the point of running half for only 1500 watts I'm the first place. There are PLENTY of amps that will get the job done at 2 ohms. The OP should change his subs out to dual 4 ohm subs to get away from all of this nonsense in the first place. OP, trade or sell your D2s for some D4s, issue solved :)
