No, you want to set the sub sonic filter at the lowest frequency your sun can handle. For my dd 12 I have it set at 25hz I believe. It all depends on your particular sub!

I think the best way to find this out, is to run your setup on a TL and see where you start to roll off with playing frequencies, and set your SSF where you roll off.

no. you set it a couple hertz below your box tuning. frequency response listed on paper has nothing to do with the subsonic filter setting.

Same how I do it,... 3-5hz "or so" below enclosure tune......

So 30hrz should be fine then. I don't have a filter on my amp so I have tou use those fmods. They only have a 20hrz or 30hrz cut off so I think I will be safer doing the 30hrz ones.
