Judging from my previous post alone I can understand why you would say I was an idiot, but I have to disagree. I know the difference between 7.62x39 and 7.62x51. I've put a magazine through a standard stock SOCOM M1A. When I saw the M1A video you linked here, the rifle struck me as similar looking to a tapco'd SKS, when compared to most M1As.
