I am going to be building a ported box for an SA-8v.2. I have seen a few other designs posted in the forums but am not sure if they will work for me. I currently plan to run ~1000 watts to it. I guess my main questions are where to begin? I do not have any box building skill and have little knowledge in building in general. I have seen some videos so I have some idea on how to put the pieces together. If anyone has a design for the box that they could share, that would be much appreciated. Oh yeah, it is going into a '02 Jeep Grand Cherokee and space isn't an issue =p Thanks guys!

Bmike Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 I have sa-8 1.5 had it running off my saz3500 at 4ohms, box is tuned close to 35hz and around .7 cubes. I had it in my trailblazer for a short while all though it did sound good and handled the power very well, it sounded alot louder and clearer in my crx using the same box . Mostly becuase theres alot less cabin space in the crx.
