Do you know if the alternator will fit a 6.2L GM engine? Does the alternator have a 4 pin oval plug?

Has the Oval 4 pin plug (3 actual pins - including sense) Not sure if it will bolt up though. I tried to look up a pic of an alt that will fit the 6.2 and the casing looks different. This has 3 bolts that come in through the side. The pics i saw show 2 from the side and one from front or other. How does your bolt up? What are the measurements of yours?

Mine is bolted on with two bolts on the bottom. It's the same alternator for the GM 4.8 and 5.3L engines, I believe. It says DR44 on the side. I've seen some HO alt by DC with the DR44. Not sure what the importance of that is but I would prefer a direct bolt on rather than having to modify anything.

  • Power Cable: Double Runs of 1/0 KNU Kolossus Fleks
  • Headunit: 80-PRS
  • Sub Amp: DC 5.0k
  • Subwoofers: 2 RE MT 15s /PSI dual .7ohm recones
  • Subwoofer Enclosure: 9.1cubes @ 32hz - brutal.
  • Mids & Highs Amp: CT125.4
  • Active Components:
    • Mids RE XXX 6.5c
    • Highs - 3 RE XXX tweeters per side(A pillar)
  • Noise Control: Damplifier Pro all over the cab.
