adreano17
my theory is to put it on the sidewall and not the back of the box because the subs waves are not paralell to the cup causing pressure on the cup. What would you do? Back, or Side? TheBetterMethod
Doesn't make any difference with pressure waves. Put it where it's convenient to get to. 2005 Subaru Outback Wagon Pioneer 9400BH Fi Q 15, SAZ1500dV3 The first build>>> http://www.stevemead...-outback-build/ 140.9 @ 36hz Sealed on dash! Chris Hammer
No because he is right. Also if your running so much power that your worried about the cup not taking the pressure waves..think about how much power your trying to squeeze through it. Ive seen more than one melt. Why not do bolts. MY BUILD *****http://tinyurl.com/gmcbuild***** Vehicles 2005 GMC Canyon CB1000r - Currently where any future funds are going. Chris Hammer
Where did you get the terminal cup from. What size speaker wire are you running. I would recomend run 8-12 gauge to some aluminum or copper bolts that you bolt through the box. Use washers and locing nuts and some silicone on the hole. Better power handling than the terminal cups. Looks cleaner IMO too MY BUILD *****http://tinyurl.com/gmcbuild***** Vehicles 2005 GMC Canyon CB1000r - Currently where any future funds are going.
