Box Design?

I have a pair of SE 12's that are going in a '99 suburban. My question is what is the best way to place subs and port? Sub and port same side, sub up port back,ect.? I'm not looking for high numbers, just loud and low, and shakin shit. 600-700 RMS each. Using the RE box calc I have a box that has sub and port same side with a 1.5" by 45" port along the bottom of the box. 17 X 17 X 45 external dimensions. 5 cubes around 34-35 Hz. What do you all think??

i would suggest this because it stays within the 1:8 ratio of port surface (h x w)

Decaf, that is a good design, I might use it. Amatt85, I need 5+ cubes after displacement. Which config will be loudest to ear, sub back port back, sub up port back,ect.?

pm amat for 5 cubes @ 32hz if you want a faster response(if you tell him what kind of bracing/dual baffle you want he can account for that in the design to)

i think since u have 12's and they'll fit sub back port back, you should do that.. alot of those who do sub up port back have 15 or 18s and they wont fit facing back because the box height/port constraints
