grounding battery/amp?

should i make a ground or use the rear strut tower for a ground? i was gonna use a self taping screw with a star lock washer and make a ground, its really thick metal, right beside the seat belt bolt. what do you guys think?

I always used strut tower..just sand it down to bare metal..I've never had a problem

just take one of the nuts off the strut tower and put the lug on that. thats what i've done.

this seems to be a very good ground but wanted to get some input..im gonna re-do my ground bc the wire and solder moves when i wiggle it

so the solder is not attched to the termianl so i assume that is not a good thing, so gotta fix that

after i saw the amount of resistance i eliminate when i do a negative run from battery to amplifier, there´s no way i´ll ever ground an amplifier to a bolt or the frame, just saying that´s a very nice choice you can make

How long was your ground from the amp to battery though?

not much, maybe about 20" at the most in my explorer, and about 10" in my buddy´s kia rio, those are the 2 cars i´ve tested about this thing in the last couple of months, before that, i did test a few other cars and always gained
