wmrcs
Did you ever do this? Curious because I plan on doing the same but for my small room. I know I could just buy a dayton sub off PE or something but im really trying to use a "nice" sub like an sa 8, or a dc 8, maybe even a cheaper fi 10... If you did it lets get some pics/videos 1 cu ft at 30hz. Peaky on low power, I would make a t-line if I didn't put an SA-15 in it's spot in my room. Slobalt7
Although I see you went a different route... More complex than a ported? Surreal has a free box plan for a 6th order for a single 8. Link is here: http://www.caraudioc...sign-plans.html How does it model in winisd with the sa8 driver? t-line? Yes! Yeah, it's slower than your bowel movements.
beaker
T- lines are great, just remember a room is nothing like a car, you wont have any cabin gain. I have a 15 for a ~250 sq foot room and its tuned to 20 hz in a 15.5 cuft enclosure. Its seeing about 250 watts right now and holy shit does that thing get down on some LFE's. It blends very well on music as well because the response curve is flat to 20hz. -3 db is around 14ish hz.
