zxsonnyxz Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 EDIT: I found a typo in the driver file in WinISD, so now it turns out those three tings can give me a pointer after all. It's stil not ideal though. I posted a similar thread in the RF section, but I'll post just the box queston here as well if it's ok. If this sub is even suitable, does anyone have any pointers for a 4th order? I don't have the parametres to go by so it's a bit tricky. This is all: Qts: 0.52 Fs: 26.3 Vas: 94.4 The sub is going in the trunk of a Merc with the gass-tank behind the seats, so the car is tricky to get loud. I figure a bandpass box would be a good solution to get decent bass in the car without all the rattling from the trunk. It wil be portet up the rear deck, with possibillity of a little hacking of whatever metal comes in the way. Theres allready factory holes that would accept (at least) two 4" aeros, but more space can be made. The whole trunk is at disposal with max dims at : Width: 37" Depth: 35.4" (minus what it takes to get the box in, but the opening is quite big) Height: 17.7" STD Passat Build 151db+STD Omega BuildMitsubishi Colt Build - Alpine|Focal|PeerlessHome Stereo BuildSmall Tang Band build - 4" fullrangeBox for 4 8"My Saab 9000 Build- I'd be very happy if you cared to check out the logs and give feedback!
