DD-1 and a couple RF2500.1

Recommended Posts

Since the 2500's have the distortion detector built into it i have always used it to set the amps up. Hover now that I have my DD-1 the amps show distortion before the DD-1 does. Should i be going off the amp's or the DD-1's.

if you are talking about the "needles" turning red, that is not "distortion" that is just it reading output and not even maximum output. They just go into red when you start pushing a lot of power out. Totally unrelated to clipping or distortion.
