Think 99% of the people on here will say go ported or don't waste the money on audio (to some extent at least and I can be wrong about that %), so if it doesn't hit hard, perhaps your dimensions are wrong for the subs on the ported box. Every pair of subs have different dimensions. Again, noob input. Wait for others to either say yay or nay. I know some people on here will give you correct dimensions.
