CUT BUDDY
WORD! :-* Thats not bad. I can spring about $800 for 2- 275amps or 2- 300 amp Iraggi's. Which one does the best for street vehicles, cuz I heard someone say that the mid200amp ones do more at idle than the big 300amp ones? Which 2 do yall think I would need (just daily driven ground pounder with a/c + heat, hyper white lights, about 5 TV monitors and 6 deep cycles with 920amps-1800amps of fuses)? dmanson
well irraggi also quoted me a 220 amp too and it ran $239 and he said that it would put out more amps at idle than the 240. i might just go with the 220 amp alternator, it's only $20 cheaper but i can use the idle power. CUT BUDDY
yea I feel ya, that just gives me an idea. I could get 1 that puts more out at idle and the other that puts more out once the rpm gets to going so it will give me enuf juice through the whole rpm range Quote TEAM MechMan Alternators
ChevyBoy
he has 2 series of alts. one puts out more at idle and costs more, and the other puts out the same amount, just not at idle.

dmanson
that's what i'm planning on doing. my RPMs are only up when i'm on the highway and heck i don't play it that loud when i'm doing 70 mph. i need it to blast when i'm doing 35 and under. CUT BUDDY
220 $339 240 $359 260 $379 280 $399 300 $419 Dual alt brackets. $219.00 Triple alt brackets. $678.00 (Much different bracket) I think the way he said they work is those are the amperage but he has 2 in each amperage rating one just does more at idle but both do the same at higher RPMs. So Imma get 1 of each 300amp alts and the dual bracket=1057+shipping....dat aint bad cuz I know with 600amps of alts I have plenty of room for upgrades. Were did you get the pricing for the dual alts? You could probably DIY and it would be a hell of alot cheaper.
