Do people understand what it takes to run that much power reliably? Why not just make a more efficient box? I have one 1000 watt amp and I'm struggling with voltage drop on a 180 amp alt.

You're doing something wrong.

Horribly wrong...lol

very wrong indeed.

Im doing just over 1k clamped on stock 65 amp alt, and don't even see below 14 unless i'm playing something like dubstep, then i still don't drop below 13.5.

And i vote for quality. Although quantity looks cooler.

I am interested in the mayhams, I just need to do some homework on them. But correct me if I am wrong but with two 15's I would have 30 inches of cone and with 8- 12's I would have 90 inches. With more cone space shouldn't it create more pressure and result in a louder system?

Same as said before, if you have the room for it go for it!

Also the post about me has the wrong come area posted.

8 12s - 904.32

2 15s - 353.25

Should have never really been a question about which has more cone.

Its a JL Audio Slash V.2 amp that makes rated power at 4, 2 , and 1 ohm. It pulls a shit ton of power. I also only have a single battery

Turn your fail into a new thread. Sounds like many dr.'s here want to diagnose.

And for the record, I agree with them. Somethings wrong.

As for the OP, quality always trumps quantity. BUT, skill comes in to play.a quality install is a must.

What good are two VS models if you don't know how to fuck!?

Rolex you sicken me.
