aN-i-No Posted August 21, 2012 Report Posted August 21, 2012 Do people understand what it takes to run that much power reliably? Why not just make a more efficient box? I have one 1000 watt amp and I'm struggling with voltage drop on a 180 amp alt. You're doing something wrong. Horribly wrong...lol

Im doing just over 1k clamped on stock 65 amp alt, and don't even see below 14 unless i'm playing something like dubstep, then i still don't drop below 13.5. And i vote for quality. But correct me if I am wrong but with two 15's I would have 30 inches of cone and with 8- 12's I would have 90 inches. With more cone space shouldn't it create more pressure and result in a louder system?

As for the OP, quality always trumps quantity. BUT, skill comes in to play.a quality install is a must. What good are two VS models if you don't know how to fuck!? Rolex you sicken me.
