Think of it like this:

If you stay where you are and just drive the 45 minutes everyday, you'll spend $X on gas.

If you move, you'll spend $Y, but also pay $Z for rent.

If (Y + Z) > X, then stay at home and enjoy the drive.

I almost made this mistake a while back.

I had a 40 mile drive to work, 40 home. 80 miles a day, 16mpg, figured for $3/gallon, ended up being something like $700 a month.

The apartments I was looking were like $1100 a month, PLUS it was still about 10 miles of driving per day, so gas still ended up being like $100 or something.

$1200 > $700, so I just stayed at home and dealt with the drive.

In northern cali 12 an hour doesnt go far, with bridge tolls, high gas, high rent/mortgage. Gratz though man, and dont stop there, keep looking for something better and never be content.

I drive n hr to work it is a nice drive but I work nightshift off at 3am making the hr drive gets tiring but ...take the drive lol be cheaper than rent haha

Bassface is right, I make $12/hr full time, just turned 25 a couple weeks ago and still at home. Need to be out by next August according to my pops plus I want to be of course. Need to find a second job and a buddy with a job, which I only have 1 of.

in northern cali i can make 9 a hour go pretty far dude lol 12/hr just expands my possibilities
