When you hook up a speaker/sub in series does it double the BL of the speaker??? And also when companies measure their t/s parameters, do they measure in series or parallel?

I honestly have NO IDEA! haha All i know about Bl is that the higher the BL the louder the woofer plays but then it lowers Qes and Qts...BUMP? i'd like to know!

yes, it does. But the BL is not the magnetic force, keep in mind. It is the ratio between electrical current and the magnetic/mechanical force.

The actual motor strength is bl/re. If the re doubles by wiring things in series, then the bl will also double to keep the same ratio.

Look at the specs for subwoofers: the 2 ohm coils have ~double the bl as the 1 ohm coils.
