Is 147.6 with 4 sa-15's on a saz-2500 good or bad?

ya its a daily box. and my competitors are hitting 151.5 but they have 10k plus

If you dont have the time and resources to build an efficient box, I say up the power and you'll see a nice gain. I bet you will beat that 151.5 score with that 10k and your current box.

Maybe a pic of the install.. at 35 Hz tuning with rise you'll likely be somewhere in the 40s ..just on cone area alone you should able to do a 148 no sweat. Especially in an SUV. The sa are listed at 3 cu ported and you're running 15 net.. you'd likely gain with a smaller box.. if you did like 3-2.5 net per sub it would still play plenty loud daily. It could be a lot of things is the box crouded? Like port too close to the wall.. what config. Like port up sub up etc etc. That can greatly effect SPL..need. pix..

as u can see its about 9-10 inchs from the hatch so that shouldnt be a prob and to be honest anywhere near tuning the subs dont move more than a quarter inch

Are these D4's? If so, two subs can only be dropped down to 1ohm. Unless we have D2's, going two subs over the four may be quieter imo.

Dont think that cone area is everything.

Having enough pressure in one direction is more important in that truck. At least until you can build enough pressure going up.

Just my .02

Not like i know much about getting loud in a big suv
