fecupe2001 Posted August 23, 2012 Report Share Posted August 23, 2012 My current system in the explorer, single Loudforce 12" sub (120$ 3" VC D2) and an american bass vfl120.1 2200 watts amplifier wired at 1 ohm, mechman 270A alternator and a single D3100 on front, 100% daily box, sub up/port side, i´m doing a 147.1@46 hz sealed on the dash, box is 1.9 cubic feet and full lenght 6" aeroport, plays awesome from 37 hz to about 55 hz I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Then I started looking for ways to improve my setup... For example. the current box is too small, so I wish to build a new one. Although, the impedance rise from the small box is probably what is saving my subs from being overpowered. I also checked voltage and seen it drop to mid 11V, so I need a batt and alt. ;-) I see you're in NB, if you were closer, I'd let you use the boomstick...
