You should not have to unless you gain alot of voltage...possible but unlikely for example if your amp is doing idk lets say 1,250watts rms but you are at idk 12.5 volts now and you add another batt and go to idk 14ivolts then your amp will put out more power mayb 1500rms??? i made all of those numbers up...you get the idea...so short answer prob not but check your voltage before and after....if it goes up alot then jus recheck to be safe but you should be ok.
