(on there way here) atomic at-3000.1 (soon) 146.2 outlaw @39hz., bad alt an bad batt when termed (old 2 12" build) alpine 6.5s in doors infinty 4x6s in dash. clarion cz201 HU. mechman 240a H/O alt stuff i still need. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts.
zydrix Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Posted April 6, 2013 well had quite a few set backs, lost my job so wasnt able to buy anymore audio, an then my rad went out in my car, have water pump, IAC valve an mass air flow sensors an brakes that all need to be done before i can start spending on audio again. But any who here is what i have done before an what i got now. Got an FI SP4 18 an put that in, that beast dropped like no 2morrow, couldnt get enough of 22-26hz. zydrix Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Posted April 6, 2013 I decided to just do a nice trunk build, i want to actually be able to have a backseat in my car for the first time. my plan is to have 2 12s on at least 5k. so i traded my SP4 for 2 HDC3 12s. extremely happy with them. have the 1 12 in a old box i made for a 15". still have to modify the insides of the box an play with the box to get it decent for now until i can get the funds to go build a box out of birch. saying goodbye with my loved sp4 justin (pimpnfosgates) holding one of the new subs. now its time for pics of the subs an the franken box. i do have to admit this 12 gets extremely loud an moves a lot of air for just 1 12. These 12s are pretty damn beefy, really miss the sp4 it should get Really nasty in that Mazda. I was moving a good bit of air, doing small hair tricks from trunk on about 2k. COLTON94 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 Its really not that hard, just a bitch to work on the ga, if urs is the v6 like mine was then ull want to find a nice level spot to work and put a jack under the motor and raise it a bit to keep it level. Gota pull the passenger motor mount off inorder to do any damn work to these cars. That was my biggest issue with mine. Hope ur car never gets the leaking lower intake gasket that the 3100 v6 is prone to huge pain to fix
