Decided not to do 2 side to side, otherwise the side to side bar might hit the back subs. So this is how it is! Baffles on and all braces mounted Box is done besides some terminals if I decide to put them on. I'd like to hear it before I invest more money with paint and fiberglass. DC triple bracket also just showed up! Hoping to install it within the next week or two. I'd start on it now, but my Tahoe is my daily driver so I have to finish it in one shot. Gates Belt- Green Stripe Alternator Excitation Harness (Won't need) Triple alternator bracket Pretty heavy duty bracket, looks to be 1/4" thick? Rough estimate. The only thing that would be nice to have is an updated direction sheet. The one they send is instructions for a dual kit. Hunters21w Posted April 10, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 Out with the old! In with the new Wiring up subs, taped the wire to the bars so they don't slap. Subs wired up ready to go So I started playing it, first song as soon as I get to a couple clicks away the amp goes into protect. Tried a couple different songs and its the same thing. Some songs it'll play full tilt though, and I can hear a pretty nice gain over the last setup. Checked my ohm load at the amp, it's supposed to be .7ohm, reads .9ohm because of the resistance in my leads. I have no doubt it has to be the sub wiring. Took it down the road real quick and played money man. 51.3 sealed up while driving lol. I will get more numbers later.
