Anyway i need tips / links to older posts that can help me learn a bit more about wiring speakers ...anything really that can help im running 2 12' kicker comps off a jl audio 1k monoblock ... what do you guys recommend i do if i plan on putting a dc lvl 5 15 ... im upgrading everything to 0g wire as soon as i can ...thanks any advice or tips help ....

I didnt have a job when i had the kickers but i always wanted some dc audio ...i honestly cant wait and i got 2 jobs now so i can afford w/e you guys recommend ...the camry was only going to be a test car to learn to fix ..kinda fell in love with her haha I forgot to mention i may be a bit late reading responses because of work ...but other then that ill try my best to keep up with everyone else
Maebros Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 well first things first if you plan on running a level 5 your going to need to upgrade your electrical. level 5 are 3k rms so i would say at the very least big 3, and an upgraded battery plus probably an extra one in the back. if you have the money upgrade your alternator as well. ( however i dont have experience with any other so i dont really have room to talk) for an alternator. Mechman is the vendor on here so i would check them out however if they dont make one for your car. look into DC Power,Excessive Amperage, or Singer.
