BEEMDUB
Soo when I turn my h/u up to its max volume without clipping my amp goes in and out of protect sometimes numerous times and very rapidy..I had adjusted my rear and front gains on my amp to audible distortion and then backed them off..Well I just adjusted them with the oscope and while it pretty much fixed the problem it still flicked into protect for like half of a second a couple times...Why is the amp going into protect? the voltage isn't a problem does the amp detect distortion or something? Skullz
Most likely your running below the 2ohm minimum load of the amp which is causing the amp to go into protect. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

Guest
x2. 1 ohm will definitely cause it to protect.
