Enclosure for 2 15's in a SRT Magnum

My buddy has a couple of 15" Obsidian Audio subs laying around collecting dust so I figured I'd put them to use while I save up for my real system. The dimensions I'd like to work within are 39" W x 17" H x 19" D. These subs want a min. of 2.5 each ported, but a maximum of 2.5 each sealed. I'm wondering if I should build a optimum sized sealed enclosure, or a minimum sized ported enclosure? I've always been a fan of ported and would prefer this route but would still like to hear opinions. If I go ported anybody interested in doing a quick little design? All of my box building software is windows based and I don't have access to a windows computer right now. They will be running off a Crescendo BC2000D at 1 ohm. Specs for the subs below. Thanks in advance!

Don't do either as you won't get optimum results with it, get a pair of 12's in an optimum enclosure and call it a day.

If your insistent on 15's then do one 15" in a proper enclosure and you'll be louder than a pair of 15's choked in that trunk.

It's not a trunk..its a wagon.

You could fit the 2 15s ported if you give more height cause you do have more available

I've got a design, it's a quarter wave t-line for a single 15 and box spec may change to accommodate -

Surface area of speaker - 15" = (7.5) • (7.5) • 3.14 = 78.5

Width of box - .75 +.75 + 17 = 18.5

height of t-line to match speaker surface area - 78.5 / 17 = 4.617 or 4.5 inches

Total height of box = .75 + .75 + .75 + 4.5 + 4.5 = 11.25 inches

Total measurements = 39 length x 11.25 tall x 18.5 depth

length of line = 39 - .75 - .75 = 37.5 inches

Frequency - 37.5 • 2 = 75 in / 12 = 6.25 feet. 6.25 • 4 = 25. 1130 speed of sound / 25 = 45.2 hz

Thanks for the input. Like I was saying I was just throwing this stuff in because it's sitting around collecting dust and the BC2000 is just hooked up to nothing in the car with the fuse out. I just want something to bump some bass while I save up for the other goodies. I'll double check the height again I really don't want it to be too much above the rear seats. Only thing this build should cost me is $40 in MDF that's why I was even entertaining the thought. Future Plans will be a single 15 on 3-5k ported.
