To sell, or not to sell?

I was thinking about it, and I can either keep what I have until it's no longer enough for me. Orrrr, while I can't drive, start selling my curretn system and start saving up and buying stuff for my next system? I'll let the poll and the members of SMD decide.

When i was trading my car in for my truck there was a decent amount of timd in between so i just started selling/ trading up to nicer equipment. Id go that route if you have some extra cash

I don't have some extra cash, I can't get a job til i get my license back in about a month, also the day after that, I turn 18....so I'm gonna go re-apply at my local car audio shop and hopefully begin to slowly improve some of them around where i live.

I have no way of making any actually money yet except for doing odd jobs, jobs for my mom, and birthday money....and odd jobs and stuff for my mom doesnt happen very often anymore

exactlly, so say you get your license back and you have a hard time finding a job still, then you sold what you have, left bassless and no money to finish what you want to have.

good point, but if i sold what i currently if (and that's a big IF), i would have enough for the electrical upgrades I'll need for the next build....and worse to comes to worse, I start basic training in March and I'll start making more than enough to pay for it then.

I would put it up for sale and just chill on it. You are in no rush to move the equipment so you have time to accept offers and play the field the SAZ and VVX should get you some funds. Only thing I would keep is the stuff you would more than likely lose more money on than its worth to sell.

What service are you going into? I was stationed in New Bern for a year with the Coast Guard I lived in NB but the station was out in Hobucken. If you don't want to go overseas it's a good route.

BTW I agree with everyone about not selling until you can have loose cash to acquire most of your next system. I have sold too much stuff before and then used the money I made from the sell on other things instead of more equipment. You will kick yourself later.
