Skar 1500.1 and no voltage drop on stock electric? wut?

So, I hooked up my skar 1500.1 @ 1ohm today for shits and giggles. I have a stock 65a alt and a 4ga run to the back + a 6ga that was there from the last owner. That goes to a big ol' wet cell in the back and then i just ran a 2 foot run of 4ga to pos and to neg on the amp. I set the gains with the 0db tone and played some dubstep. I only dropped to 13.5 but mostly 13,8 from 14.1 (thats where my car runs hot).

My grounds are 1/0 up front, one from alt case to strut and one from batt to other strut. and in back i have a 4ga from strut to batt. (yes, i know my wiring is a mess. I am just starting in front and working my way back and my regular setup doesn't need anything more than 4ga.

Here is my question;

So, am i just not seeing voltage drop because the 4ga can't handle the current? I don't believe that because the 4ga and 6ga both have 80a fuses, you would think one or the other would have popped.

I am checking voltage right at the amp terminals.

Probably, I clamped my old amp at 40hz and i was seeing 3ohms, i have no idea what it's like at other frequencies.Guess i should test it.

It's in the works. I'm going to probably go with 3.8 cuft /net ,tuned to 32hz. I think i may have messed up a bit on the port on this one anyway and in my opinion is sounds a bit like it has too much port noise. I'm not really sure because i don't have that much experience with ported boxes. Wish there was someone around me that had more experience that could listen and point me in the right direction.

I heard those Skar amps are very efficient on electrical as well.

drop your voltage leads into your amps - and + then tell us what the drop is... if they are on the alt side of the setup the wires aren't letting much current go through to the amp like previously said. I've heard you should always put them on your buss bar in the back or directly into the largest amp.

Post the box specs bro, but yeah i agree with kranny, pretty sure you have a lot of impedance rise, i had that same problem on the first box i built in the suzuki swift for 3 10´s, it sounded pretty nice and my voltage didn´t drop below 13.8v , i had a shitty port for sure since i didn´t have much room, well, i just changed the baffle on that same box and managed to fit a bigger port, voltage dropped to 11v lol

Torres says its 3.65cuft with 54" port area and tuned to 34hz. Considering the power i figure that should be right on the money for what i need. I'm just not happy with the way it sounds.
