I figured I'd do it myself since no one in my area of the midwest does this type of stuff. It's all collision repair and paint. No custom shops. If they do claim to be custom, it's just custom interior. Does anyone know, or own a shop in the midwest who knows what the hell they're doing? I think I did a pretty good job of putting it on. Lord Fusor 116 is some strong shit. But the body filler work is where I think I went wrong. Had a week off of work because of Toyota's plant shut down for cleaning, didn't get my adhesive or body filler in the mail until my vacation was almost over and had to do it at the last minute. It was hot as hell outside, which means the hardener was working way too fast.. even with just a little drop. The scoop is stuck on there. It isn't coming off for anything (or at least I hope). But it is starting to crack where I didn't put enough adhesive (closer to the windshield on the edge on both sides of the scoop). I can fix the cracks myself, but as far as feathering it in, that work isn't for me. I'm basically just looking for someone in the midwest, southern Illinois, southern Indiana or western Kentucky that has a shop and knows what they're doing. If I have to mail this thing off to have someone do it, I will probably find a way. But I don't want it to get damaged because of the assholes who handle our packages being careless. Here are some pics. They don't show really any of the cracks that I'm talking about. But sort of what I'm going for. If you want to see what I imagine the end result to be, go to cardomain.com and look up jeepigator98. I'm basically going to copy cat the hood, grille and front bumper. But the rear bumper is going to be a mix between my current one (the bumper strip on up) and a 2006 Grand Cherokee SRT8 bumper. The hood still needs to be sanded and feathered in to be seamless. Upgrading the 20s to 22s. Just don't know what kind of rims I want yet. I can take criticism.. so go ahead. Just know it isn't a finished project, obviously. He who stands on toilet is high on pot.

I did that because I know how people chime in on topics like this and tell you you're stupid for not doing what they want. I dealt with this at jeepforum.com for putting 20s on it. Apparently rednecks own my shit too, and I have to get approval before I can get any advice.. or figure it out on my own. He who stands on toilet is high on pot.
