matt@mechman
It is totally normal for an alternator to drop in voltage with heat. Your vehicle is not PCM controlled, in fact, it has a factory external regulator, very similar to how Chrysler vehicles have been since the 60's. The cool part about that, is that it is petty easy to put an external regulator on 2006 and older Chrysler products. We have a kit for $150 that comes with a plug-and-play harness to give you in cab adjustable voltage control of your stock alternator. Or, we have some pretty reasonably priced 240 amp 6 phase alternators you could bolt in there also.... Either option would get your voltage up higher. I would recommend both, personally.
