All i know is if you're facing them forward, you do need to seal off or else you will lose a lot of output in this vehicle. My first setup was 2 skar 12's facing forward not sealed off, if was noticeably louder when it was pushed back in the trunk some. No idea, but i do know that behind the trim panels in the trunk there's a few places that are hiding from you that you're gonna wanna seal off with some expanding foam.
