best fm transmitter?

Well I was just going to buy my girlfriend a new headunit but she likes it stock. She wants her auxiliary cord, so my question is which is the best one? Looking for one with 3.5 so she can listen to her phone & iPod.

they all suck. If you get one of those, be prepared for some awful sound......i have never heard one i could stand 5 minutes of. The only way it will sound OK is if you leave the volume down low, real low.... and don't attempt to enjoy the actual song being played. That being said, it don't matter what brand you get, just pick the cheapest one you can find.

there isnt any "good" FM transmitter out there. they all equally suck, in my opinion.

edit: the FM radio frequency response is from 30hz to 15khz

A cheapie radio with inputs cost about the same as a "good" fm transmitter. I had a transmitter before I bought a new head unit and it sucked. You spent a bunch of time searching for a clean station but there was always static, not to mention a bunch of unsightly wires.
