Before I make the purchase, I had a few quick questions. 1) Are the older DC amps such as the 3000.1 made with the same quality as the newer line; Are the just as underrated as the new line? 2) Do larger amps such as this one decrease in quality over time? I know that these were made In like 2009 or something. 3) Do you think $500 shipped is more than I should pay for an older amp such as this? C-Fizzy Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 From what I've heard some of the amps had a slight issue with overheating. But they're still powerhouses. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
