Shane Patrick Lovell Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 Just had to comment here. We've got the same last name. I haven't had the chance to read all through this thread, but i've skimmed it. You're going to want some beefed up electrical to support that BC2k and the 4 channel. A good box design is always key to a good sounding sub stage. Hit me up when you're ready for the box. i'd be glad to help. Cool! Never met/spoken to someone with the same last name that wasnt in the family. Would the Big 3 Upgrade and a Duralast Platinum 7DT-AGM w/750cca and 120 reserve min be enough to keep everything up. I have a Jeep Cherokee, so I have the 136 amp alternator; I have no idea if this is a lot or not. Thanks for the helping hand with the box. I'm going to get the 4 channel and the door speakers first so I wont be getting the amp and subs for quite a while since I'm starting school again and my hours at work will be cut : ( For the box design I was going to do something like this: http://www.chalacha.com/chadsjeep/jeep.html I like having all that trunk space in my Jeep so I want to keep as much as possible. I dont know how big the sub he has in it, but do you think that it has enough air space for a 12"?
412 CVX Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 it's all a guesstimate. it probably is a single 12, you'll want about 1-1.3 cubes for a 12" sealed. Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
Shane Patrick Lovell Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 and thats LxWxH / 1728, right?
