REVOofRustler Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Does anyone know if the Crescendo BC2000d can accept 8 gauge speaker wire? If not, what is the largest it can fit? REVOofRustler Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 Awesome! Thanks guys! Just a heads up, you don't NEED 8 gauge wire.. I know I could get by with something smaller, but I'd just rather keep everything as efficient as possible. In case you were looking at my sig, I'm just running my Type R until I get everything up to spec electrical wise to run a Fi Q12 at 1 ohm. Thanks though! 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz

You won't hear any difference between 8 gauge wire and 12 gauge wire, or 16 gauge for that matter proably. On the TermLab, maybe. But I highly doubt you are going only after numbers. 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz

I heard a huge freaking difference by ear when I upgraded from shitty CCA 16 gauge cadence wire to 8 gauge OFC gauge Audio Technix, and plus 16 gauge can only transfer 300 watts at 2 ohms, less at 1 ohms. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
