How do you build a sub box for a specific sub?

What I really wanna go with are FI BL 10's.....I was gonna go under the FI section on here, but they got rid of it for some reason D:

Your best bet is to decide on which sub you want to use. Then, look for people that have actually used that sub and know what it does and does not like.

if your going 10's, go rockford's P3's or T1's, my friend has 2 of em in his durango with a stock d slot box, louder then some 15's

Naw, I'm good....they wouldn't be able to take the kind of power I plan on throwin at the BL's

By the time everything's all said and done. Sundown 3500 at .5 ohm. P3's or T1's would crumple under that kind of power. Plus I can get the BL's for cheaper anyways

Unless your going full out walled in your cabin for the most part you can just go by what the manufacturer recomends for the box. You can find tons of people on this site though that have the ability to give you specs and drawings of boxes to your specific application. Skar, Bassheadsent, and about 10 others can do what you want. What sub(s) do you have in mind?

Been there, done that. Started off with 2 skar 12's. It's easier to work with smaller subs in my car. I could do 12's, but I want something just a tad bit smaller
