How long do I cut this FRONT piece with the double KERF

I need to make a cut sheet how long will I have to cut the piece in order to kerf this correctly?

Circumference = 3.14 x the diameter(2xRadius). USe the PI button if you have a claculator instead of 3.14

than divide by 4 or multiply the relult by .25 since its only a quarter of a circle. EDIT: Use the 4.25 radius and 5 inch radius to do the calculations.

Give me a sec I will work it out.

1. is the first bend 6.68"
   
2. is the second 7.85
   
3. all the lengths added up plus the curves is 62.03
   

So to makes it easier I would cut it at 62

Edit:They are all correct now I think lol. Check the math yourself though.

if I did my math right it would be 30+7.85+6.75+6.676+10.5 = 62.026 inches

On the first bend the Radius is 5" so the Diameter would be 10.

so 10PI divided by 4 = 7.853

I edited it. I put the math up in my first post than I didnt even follow it lol. Brain fart. I used the radius but yeah I edited it with the diameter came out to the 62.03 so 62 just to make it simple. You got it fine.

I took stats/ trig/ and advanced algebra in college and I can't believe I did that haha.

Yea. I did pre calc in highschool. Went to take it in college and realized since I'm not majoring in anything math related whats the point. I was sick of doing tons of math homework on top of criminal justice and english stuff.

But I have to ask..or look up some of the most simple stuff sometimes even though I got A's in those classes. I think its true if you dont use it you lose it. At the end of Stats I was doing 2-3 page problems no calculator now I would look at the same thing dumbfounded.

i would cut the one edge 3/4 of an inch shorter and then make my kerf fit the way i wanted it to and cut the excess off with a router. secure it from the front.

I like n8's idea. give yourself some room for error. Kerfs are a pain sometimes. You could also cut two pieces and do a kerf on each piece. Just make sure they fit together good and your cuts are straight. A end to end glue joint is OK on MDF just doesnt work to well on normal woods.
