welded my ground to my frame to stop the ground noise with no success please help!!!!!!

Poor quality RCAs will do it every time. I switched to some decent shielded ones when I had that issue and it solved it quickly.

fuck a ground loop isolator. JUNK.

make sure ALL your grounds are as close to the same spot as possible, even the deck ground. That will have the biggest difference of all.

edit: i re-read your post and it doesn't even sound like you have a ground loop problem....you said you have noise when your car is turned off? Like what? a popping sound? what kind of sound?

so when you say ground all them as close to possible, should i run a ground wire from my deck back to where my amp is grounded.

I didnt mean it makes noises when the car is off, i meant it makes a thump when i turn the car off. the amp kinda sounds like something might be wrong with it bc it pushes bass through the subs when someone is talking on a track or on the radio or something...... im starting to think this might be tied into the same problem.

Like stated earlier, go unplug the RCAs from the amp and see if the problem goes away.

A bad head unit ground will produce engine noise.

Older Soundstream amp?

If it makes a "pop" or "thump" when you turn off your car or system, then you could have an amp without the "soft turn off" feature. In short, your head unit goes off before you amp does and when the HU goes off, it sends noise or trash through the RCAs and your amp makes the speakers "thump".

On the subs moving when people talk- where is your HU and Amps Low Pass filter set at? It should be no higher than 80 hz or so IMO.

Also- where are your bass and gain settings? You set them with a DD-1 or an O-scope? You may have them jacked way high and you are picking up every little thing.

.....or you could have crappy grounds too. lol

its not that old. its discontinued but its still under a year old i think. yeah the sound goes away when i unplug the rcas im gonna throw some rf rcas in there and ground the head unit better and see if that helps at all
