I would just use one of the online calculators such as the RE calc or one of the others, but I would rather not pay money for a calc, or use one that is off because i have heard the RE is off quite a bit. does anyone know what the actual mathematics behind calculating box tuning are? i looked at that diagram from the calculator you had, and it all makes sense except the 20.125 in the green box. Where did that number come from? thanks a lot! That's the effective length of the port = physical length + end correction for slot ports with common walls = 19.5 + 1.25/2, the 1.25 is the width of the port. That's the Torres calculator can be downloaded from his pinned thread on this section. If you are just looking for something to build I can provide you a cutsheet just create your own thread or send me a PM.
