Hey SMD well the time has come to do some pre-planning for my upcoming build. I plan to run 2 18" Fi sp4's in a ported box in a Lincoln Navigator. I would like the box to be below the window line if possible. I DO NOT have the exact measurements ATM but can get them tomorrow after work. I believe its around 40 wide 35 deep and 18 tall. What i want to achieve ? A loud N' low daily driver not a burp machine. Will be running one aq 3500.1 off the 2 subs and eventually will get another amp to strap the two. I am looking for a design and sketch-up if possible. Any other input will be noted, thanks allot!

I don't have a certain freq. i want to reach, I don't plan to play 20 hz tones or anything but would like to play 20 hz for the FEW songs i have that dip down to it. This will be my first big setup and i want it to be a demo machine, but also be able to listen to when i drive to school 45+ minutes away. Hair tricks would be amazing. I think tuning at 30 Hz should do just fine.

It does very well. Could even use less space if needed but I like mine the way it is. Peaks at 35 but is pretty flat from 25-50

Go larger if you're limited on power. Since you plan on running a 3500 to each sub in the future, I'd just go with a 13ft common chamber and call it good.
