ChevyBoy95 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 in my brothers truck, him not being the audio junkie, has an issue, and im not 100% on what it is either. When his bass amp turns on it plays music for about 5-10 seconds then a progressively louder static/thumping happens and wont stop till the truck is turned off. We have switched the H/U with no change in the issue. Any leads to what it could be? the amp? and no i havent had the time to switch the amp out and try another. DubNDodge Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 Sounds like enigne/alternator noise, especially since it stops when the truck is turned off. It can be fixed with a better ground I believe. I am not exactly sure though.
