Also, do i need a fuse for both the back batteries as well as for the one up front? Any other useful info for wiring multiple batteries is also appreciated What the f**k is an appropriate signature supposed to look like?2013 Kia Forte Koup Pioneer AVH-X4600BT iDMax 12 DD M1c @ 2 ohms Rockford Prime 200.2 Pioneer 6.75" Comp Set XS S3400, D2700 Project DB Battery Terminals Axxess ASWC Stinger HPM Everywhereeee 90 Sq. Raptorman
Not sure about the way to wire, I've heard parallel wiring is only suggested if you have an aftermarket Alt, because it's too much strain on stock alts. But I would definitely fuse between the batts. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. TylerParrish
so how would i wire it up without being in parallel? Since i do have a stock alt for now? just run the power and ground to the frame? Seems like it would be more effiecient in parallel.... mikeg321
Connect all the positives to positives and negatives to negative, parallel. If you don't want to do a negative run from front to back do the big 3 up front and make sure you find a good spot to ground in the back. You need to put a fuse within 18" of of the batteries in the front and the back. 4 fully loaded Fi sp4 15's 2 Crescendo bc5500s Crescendo c1100.4 6 focal mids Vifa tweets 5 XS Power d3100's Pioneer avh-p4200dvd All crammed into a mustang. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150569-mikeg321s-fi-nendo-mustang-getting-walled-videos-page-4/
kl0wn
Just run parallel, + to +, - to -. For the fusing, the safest way is to put a fuse between each battery. Me personally, I would only fuse the long run of the front to rear, then keep the rear 2 batteries non-fused. why is that? oh shit, conflicting replies, time to get some info backin people's info. Well, only other way to wire them is series. Which would be + to -, - to +. Do we really need to go over why not to do that? 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
